As we’ve discussed before, T-Mobile terminated the vast majority of their dealer network and now we’re hearing their not paying the final commission amounts.
Numerous former dealers have told NWIDA that their final commission payments were as much as 50% below what they should be. In addition, when pressed about the discrepancy, dealers were told they would have to sign and agree to a “no dispute” clause and agree to a termination fee of as much as $10,000.
Other dealers were told their final commissions are being withheld because they didn’t “comply with the decommission items.”
Dealers specifically mentioned Master Agent Arch Telecom as withholding commissions from $15,000 – $50,000.
Locations had to send in pictures proving their stores were closed and all signage was removed. One dealer told us that their locations have been turned over to landlords “months ago” and they had followed all the procedures at the time of closing. They said that usually their Master Agent would reach out at that time, not 4-5 months later – which is what’s happening.
