LYCA NWIDA10/16/23 17:15
We heard directly from LYCA this afternoon, who is denying our report. They acknowledged that LYCA has filed a lawsuit against T-Mobile but said they have not received any notice from T-Mobile regarding their MVNO agreement. For now, it’s business as usual for LYCA and T-Mobile.

Lyca did not address the report they are looking at other potential network partners.

LYCA’s legal department told us:

Lyca Mobile has confirmed that it has NOT received any notice of termination from T-Mobile.

Lyca Mobile values its US customers and assures them that any and all relevant notices will be communicated directly. Should you hear any further rumors, please contact retailersupport@lycamobile.us.

NWIDA has been able to confirm from 3 sources that LYCA Mobile will be leaving the T-Mobile network and is currently looking for a new carrier in the US.

Sources have confirmed that LYCA was given 90 days to move their subscribers to another network.

While we cannot confirm the reason why, we’ve heard it may be due to a lawsuit filed by LYCA against T-Mobile.

At this time, we have no details on the impact to the thousands of LYCA dealers.

We will update this post as we get more information.
