Google and Repair Ads Update

If you’re a regular reader here (and, of course you are!) you know Google has banned all ads from repair shops, and we’ve been trying to get that changed (see here and here.)

But we haven’t been working alone.

Our friends at Repair.org and PIRG have also been working tirelessly on this issue – and Google has been presented with a petition of over 6900 signees.

Today, Repair.org wrote an update on the progress – and if you’re a repair shop, or even just care about where you can get your phones repaired, I urge you to read it.
