According to an article in PrePaid Phone News (link below), after April 30, 2019, users with 3G devices will no longer be able to activate them on the Sprint networks, including all Sprint MVNOs. The devices activated before April 30 will be able to continue using them. However, they will no longer get updates over the air.
Sprint, along with its MVNOs, will no longer support 3G devices after April 30, 2019.
