As a few people saw last week, when the phrase “Trump Mobile” was registered as a trademark, today (in fact) Trump Mobile has launched a new MVNO. It will operate on the T-Mobile network.
At first glance, outside of the brand name, there doesn’t seem to be too much of a differentiator between any other MVNO. Rate plans begin at $47.45 and there is a “gold” phone available for pre-order called the “T-1” but looks a lot like an iPhone in a gold case.
For now, the brand is going direct to consumer, but has not ruled out a dealer program in the future.
