MobileX | NWIDAMobileX has announced the launch of its new “Gold Network” data access options, set to roll out on October 18th. This service will provide customers with priority data access for a small premium over standard rate plans. Meanwhile, standard custom data plans without priority access will see a slight price reduction.

The Gold Network is designed to offer prioritized data traffic, ensuring faster speeds, lower latency, and a more stable connection during times of network congestion, such as at concerts, sporting events, or in densely populated areas.

MobileX will introduce several ways for customers to access the Gold Network:

  • Gold On Demand: Customers can purchase priority data at $2.10 per GB, while standard data will now cost $1.90 per GB, reduced from the previous $2.10 per GB.
  • Gold Unlimited 10: Includes 10GB of priority data for $19.88 per month. The standard Unlimited 10 plan remains at $14.88 per month.
  • Gold Unlimited 30: Includes 30GB of priority data for $29.88 per month. The standard Unlimited 30 plan remains at $24.88 per month.
  • Gold Build Your Own: Allows customers to add priority data to custom plans, starting at $4.08 per month. Standard data for custom plans will now start at $3.88 per month, down from $4.08 per month.

“For too long, carriers have dictated how customers access performance on their networks,” said Peter Adderton, founder and CEO of MobileX. “With the Gold Network, we are putting that choice back in the customer’s hands. They can instantly upgrade to priority access when they need it or stick with our regular high-speed data for other times.”

The Gold Network options will be available through the MobileX app. New customers can sign up via the app, which is downloadable from the Apple App Store and Google Play, or by purchasing a MobileX SIM starter kit at local dealers.
