NWIDA has learned, from a reliable source, that a company that owns over 600 T-Mobile stores has purchased a number of Metro stores – making them the first to own both.
Our first question is – What will they be selling and where?
It certainly opens the possibility of each brand being sold in either store. T-Moblie has already started selling Metro in certain areas.
In addition, we’re hearing that T-Mobile would prefer to consolidate Metro store owners – having fewer owners own more stores.
We will be sure to keep an eye on this.
