Verizon “rebranded” today – modifying their logo and launching “myHome” the “ the only one-stop-shop for home internet, live TV, entertainment and connected home offerings – all in one place, and all in your control.”
Before we talk about that, they’ve also changed their trade-in program. Verizon is now expanding eligibility of their smartphone trade in program to include all of their myPlan Unlimited tiers.
MyHome puts Verizon into the “home internet” space, but via their cellular network. Speeds are up to 2 Gigs and you can add streaming services as well. Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade will be added “soon” In addition, you can add Fios or YouTubeTV.
myHome is being called an extension of its myPlan mobile offering. Verizon Business is also launching a smartphone management solution that offers business customers more choices for managing their company’s smartphones.
