(H/T to Tyler Childress)
The (newly owned by Verizon) TracFone will stop activating on the AT&T and T-Mobile networks on March 1. (** Update – per TracFone, this only impacts the Tracfone brand, not any of their any other brands at this time.**)
This comes as no surprise to us. We thought that “job 1” for TracFone would be to stop paying other networks every month and begin to migrate the current customers to the Verizon network. They actually said that multiple times.
In order to do that, the easiest step is to stop new customers from coming onboard to the other networks.

February 25, 2022 at 10:11 amThis is misleading, this affects Tracfone customers using the Tracfone network….Not Tracfone as a whole.
Net10, Simple Mobile are business as usual.
