Ultra Mobile announced yesterday that they are adding domestic roaming to their rate plans – allowing their customers to T-Mobile’s “partner networks” at no additional cost.
Is this because T-Mobile announced the intent to purchase Ultra subject to regulatory approval?
Either way, domestic roaming is typically one of the only things carriers keep to themselves to differentiate the MNO from any MVNO – so this is an uncommon move (for now.)
All Ultra Mobile plans (excluding Paygo,Tourist and Flex) will now have:
• 500 Domestic Roaming Voice Minutes per month
• 500 Domestic Roaming SMS per month
• 500 MB Domestic Roaming Data per month
