Per a memo from Tracy Nolan, Sprint President of National Sales, Strategy and Operations:
We are going to move forward with the temporary closing of approximately 71% of our locations from across the country. We plan to keep open and operate just over 1,000 stores, which includes our service & repair locations. This is not an easy decision, but I believe this is in our best interest given the current circumstances.
The locations we are keeping open will operate with reduced hours…
In addition, all of our Sprint Express at Walgreens locations will now close temporarily. As previously announced, all stores within indoor malls and our locations in Puerto Rico are closed as well.
Sprint is also paying commissions to its salespeople based on an average of their last 6 months of commission earnings.
