Repair Parts - NWIDANumerous repair part wholesalers are warning of a “sharp price increase” in the near future.

Power restrictions in China (see below), combined with the upcoming Chinese New Year and an increase in raw material pricing are expected to drive repair part prices significantly higher. 

Wholesalers are suggesting shops keep as much as one month of inventory on hand if possible. With some saying get what you can now. 

China (read here) has implemented higher “peak usage” pricing for power, and they’re asking industries and households to cut electricity usage. Power demand has spiked after a recent heat wave, as well as it’s peak season for export orders of September and October. Industrial enterprises in many regions across the province are already staggering their power use by shutting operations four or five days a week, impacting economic activities, according to the government’s statement.

Verizon Sells Corporate Stores to Dealers

Dish Files for Bankruptcy
