NWIDA has been diligent in contacting various Federal legislators in regard to the Samsung USITC filing. To date, we’ve had good communications from at least 6 Senators.
As you may know, Samsung has filed a complaint with the US Trade Commission. They want to ban ALL aftermarket screens.
If they’re successful, your customers will no longer have a choice in how they repair almost ANY device with a screen – and it’s very possible you’ll be out of business.
Senator Braun’s office and they would like to hear from repair shops in Indiana.
We STRONGLY URGE you to write to Mary Martin – Regional Director – Senator Mike Braun and tell her this ban CANNOT GO INTO EFFECT.
You can use the template here or just write a quick note telling the Senator what will happen if EVERY aftermarket screen is banned. The template also has Ms. Martin’s email address, or contact us for it.
She is waiting to hear from YOU. If you have a shop in Indiana, we urge you to please contact Senator Braun’s office – ask for Mary Martin (or contact us for her direct email.)
Please do not delay. It is CRITICAL we stop this ban.
