The FCC has approved the merger between T-Mobile and the parent company of Mint Mobile, Ultra Mobile and MVNE Plum.
T-Mobile will pay up to $1.35B in cash and stock. For now, T-Mobile is saying they will keep Mint and Ultra as separate brands. Also, T-Mobile agreed to unlock Mint and Ultra Mobile devices within 60 days of closing the deal.
NWIDA hopes this does not have a negative impact on the Ultra Mobile dealers. We have been in close contact with Ultra (a NWIDA member) during this process and will continue to do so.
