While the vast majority (over 95%) of all Cricket stores are independently owned, parent AT&T has shut the 100 or so corporate owned Cricket stores.
First reported by Wave 7 research, this could easily be part of the cost-cutting moves AT&T has been making over the last few months.
These closures do not impact any independently owned Cricket locations.
