National Wireless Independent Dealer Association

Cash App is the latest brand to jump into wireless, announcing a new MVNO offering called Cash App Mobile that runs on AT&T’s network.

The setup appears to follow a now-familiar playbook: Cash App is working through Gigs (a white-label MVNO/MVNE-style provider) to bring a branded mobile plan to market—similar to how other fintech brands have rolled out service.

What’s included (at a glance)

Cash App Mobile is positioned as a straightforward $40/month unlimited plan, with the service managed inside the Cash App ecosystem. Plan highlights mentioned in the announcement/reporting include:

  • “Premium” 5G data

  • Unlimited HD streaming

  • 10GB/month hotspot (U.S.)

  • Roaming in Canada and Mexico

Cash App is also framing this as more than “just a phone plan,” emphasizing that users can manage mobile service alongside spending/saving in the same app experience.

What to watch

Cash App also says it intends to connect mobile service to:

  • Its in-app rewards

  • Child/teen account features (suggesting a family/younger-user angle)

The rollout is starting with select users, with broader availability planned.
