AT&T and Cricket (see below) have announced the shutdown schedule of their 3G network:
- Starting January 19, 2021 activations of non HD (non-VoLTE) devices will be blocked.
- Devices currently on-line will work until February 2022
- Customers using non-HD devices will be “encouraged” to upgrade. On January 12, they will begin to receive text messages
- Includes Cricket BYOD or Cricket sold devices.
