Remember last year when we said Lyca had their T-Mobile contract extended for only 1 year? Time’s up.According to Lyca Master Agent AH, Lyca dealers received letters recently informing them of the end of their T-Mobile deal. And added dates:
While Lyca hasn’t told their dealers who the new network will be, we do know they signed an agreement with AT&T last year. In fact, it was AH who “broke” the news about CUBE Mobile – only to have it go away as quickly as it came. The real date dealers will need to know (and so far they do not) is when do their current T-Mobile customers cease to have service? As with many pre-paid MVNOs, Lyca doesn’t really know who their actual end-users are – and has no way to contact many of them. When the “drop” occurs, many folks will be left with no service – at least temporarily. NWIDA has reached out to Lyca for a comment and more info… |
