T-Mobile is pulling out of “Sprint”‘s National Retail locations and firing that staff. As far as National Retail, T-Mobile will only be in Costco – for now. The question that remains is will T-Mobile, under their brand, take over the space Sprint had in places like Best Buy, Sams Club and Walmart, or will they eliminate those channels completely?
In addition, another round of T-Mobile (and Metro) employees have been let go, including (we’ve heard) the entire National Retail division of “Sprint”, effective in August, and Indirect Sales Managers on the dealer side and a number of corporate (HQ) employees (once again.)
ISM positions have already been cut as much as 60% in some markets – and based on this news more will most likely be coming in the near future.
