According to an article in LightReading (link below) Shentel, a Sprint partner, could be soon purchased by “the new” T-Mobile. Shentel owns and operates it’s own network, but under the Sprint brand.
When the merger closed, Shentel began to negotiate with T-Mobile and now it seems that T-Mo will simply purchase the company, it’s network and it’s 1.1 million customers in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
