NWIDA Launches Carrier / MVNO Level Membership

Offers exclusive benefits and solidifies relationship between indirect distribution and service providers

August 20, 2019 – Las Vegas, NV – Today, at the All Wireless and Prepaid Expo, NWIDA announced a new Carrier / MVNO level membership and that Ultra Mobile has become the first MVNO to join.

Founded in 2017, NWIDA provides a united and consistent voice to a section of the wireless retail world that has been disjointed and under-served. As the only trade and advocacy group specifically for the independently owned wireless sales and repair store, NWIDA provides its members with access to exclusive discounts, content and a strong voice in the policy and legislation that impacts those businesses directly.

Benefits at the new level include exclusive discounts on reports from Wave 7 Research as well as corporate and sales training from Corporate Dynamics. In addition, members will have access to industry leaders and a team of experts who have worked with state and federal legislators and regulatory agencies in consultation on policy and law effecting the wireless industry.
Ultra Mobile becomes the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator to join NWIDA at the new membership level.

Erin Anderson, SVP, Indirect Sales of Ultra said:

“Working with NWIDA is something we wanted to do since they launched. With this new membership level, it gives us unprecedented access to new marketing and operational opportunities that we can leverage to continually generate products that add value to new and existing Retailers and improve our consumer’s ability to stay connected with family and friends around the globe.”

Adam Wolf, President of NWIDA said:

“The carriers and MVNOs are the backbone for the indirect dealers. It’s our goal to help that relationship grow and grow stronger. We feel that working directly with the service providers will help the dealers grow their businesses.”

Carriers and MVNOs can join by calling NWIDA at 919.694.3298 or visiting nwida.org/carrier-mvno-membership
