T-Mobile has announced that they will offer in-store repairs to their Protection subscribers in a trial of 500 stores starting November 1st. Protection costs $7 (or more) per month. The repairs will be performed by “highly-credentialed” Assurant technicians using approved parts, and they’re promising same day service. T-Mobile said that more stores will provide the option in the future.
The provider is also expanding Protection to five claims per year instead of three. The service already covers damage , theft, upgrades and AppleCare.
