Remember when (now former) CEO John Legere told Congress that a T-Mobile/Sprint merger would be “jobs positive”? Well, don’t tell that to the (now former) employees.
Once again (it’s not the first time) – more employees have been terminated from T-Mobile. Remember this from FierceWireless in June 2020:
TechCrunch reported…that T-Mobile VP James Kirby told hundreds of Sprint employees their services are no longer needed. TechCrunch obtained leaked audio of a call, which was said to be one of several that were conducted on Monday. The notifications come more than two months after the merger closed on April 1.
And now, they’re back at it. One store manager posted this on social media recently:

They are now getting rid more of the former Sprint employees as well as some T-Mobile folks. Time is up. I got the call today.
In addition, T-Mobile continues to close or force independent dealers to sell. It appears T-Mobile only wants a handful of indirect store owners – who control hundreds or thousands of stores – instead of the smaller (but many) dealers who literally built out their distribution. Many of these smaller dealers are being forced to sell – and with T-Mobile controlling WHO to sell to, thereby only providing a fraction of the fair market value to the business owner. (We’ve got more on that to come.)
